Do your part to keep your mouth healthy!

Doing everything you can to achieve and maintain excellent oral health is one of the best ways to keep your smile and overall health strong for life. After all, the mouth is the gateway to the body, and just as great oral health benefits your systemic well-being, poor oral health can lead to (and exacerbate) several chronic conditions and diseases.

Here are four quick and easy oral hygiene tips to incorporate today:

  1. If you aren’t already, start brushing twice each day-for at least 2 minutes each time- to prevent the buildup of tarter and bacteria forming in your mouth, which inevitably leads to cavities and gum disease.

2. Floss once a day to reach areas below your gum line and between your teeth that your toothbrush can’t. Food particles do get stuck between your teeth! If you don't floss, you will be at greater risk for calculus and tarter buildup which means...cavities.

3. Rinse with an antibacterial mouthwash once a day (preferably at night).

4. Attend your regular checkups and cleanings so we can prevent (or quickly treat) any dental concerns before they turn into major issues and higher costs.
